• Renshi Ayyappan started learning karate in the year 1995.
• He got he is 1st dan Black Belt in the year 1998.
• He devoted his life for taking karate to the masses and became a karate trainer in the year 2003.
• He got his 2nd Dan black belt in the year 2003 followed by 3rd Dan Black Belt in the year 2007.
• He got he is 4th Dan black belt in the year 2011 from ISSHINRYU WORLD KARATE ASSOCIATION's (IWKA) Grandmaster Kichiro Shimabuku at Okinawa, Japan.
• In the year 2009, he underwent a Special Tactical Training at Pittsburgh (U.S.A).
• He participated in ISSHINRYU WORLD KARATE ASSOCIATION's (IWKA) International tournament, U.S.A in the year 2009, in which, he clinched the championship title and was honored by one of the IWKA's senior most sensei, HANSHI DUESSEL (9th Dan).
• He got his 4th Dan Black Belt from OKINAWA ISSHINRYU KARATE & KOBUDO ASSOCIATION's (OIKKA) worldwide president, HANSHI ANGI UEZU (10th Dan), at Japan in the year 2010.
• He got the Japanese government's affiliation from Hanshi Christopher Chase in the year 2010.
• An expert in specialized weapon handling, he won the National Championship in Nunchakku Handling in the year 2004.
• He was the one and only participant selected to represent India at IWKA 2011 competition in the Black Belt category, and he secured 2nd place in the competition bringing glory to the country.
• He got his 5th Dan Black Belt in the year 2011 after getting trained in Gojuryu directly under Grandmaster Tetshiro Hokama, Japan (9th Dan).
• He won the Taekwondo National Championship in the year 2007.
• He was awarded 2nd Dan Black Belt for his mastery in Taekwondo by Kukkiwon, Korea in the year 2011.
• He started his Taekwondo School, Central Chennai Taekwondo Club (CCTC), in the year 2011 at Chennai, Tamilnadu.
• In May 2012, he visited Okinawa, the birth place of Karate and underwent intensive training under the personal guidance of the president of IWKA and Isshinryu's senior most Grandmaster, Kichiro Shimabuku (10th Dan).
• The second branch of the school was started at Adyar in December 2012.
• He started his Samurai Sword (IAIDO) Training under Grandmaster Hamamoto Sensei at Okinawa Japan in the year 2013.
• He got RENSHI award from Kichiro Shimabuku becoming the first Indian to get this prestigious award from Kichiro Shimabuku himself.
• His Born To Fight School became the one and only affiliated direct branch of IWKA in India, teaching the IWKA's way of Isshinryu Karate.
• The year 2013 became a milestone in his Born To Fight School's rave history. Renshi Ayyappan and his students won Eight Championships in Isshinryu World Tournament held in Ohio, U.S.A. leaving an impressive mark in the annals of the championship with highest number of championships won with lowest number of participants. This exemplary achievement was widely acclaimed by Indian media.
• His Born to fight school won the BEST SCHOOL AWARD from IWKA, U.S.A.
• May 2014 he went Okinawa (japan) for his 5th level black belt test under world isshinryu president grand master kichiro shimabuku.
• Again August 2015 he took huge team (13 students) from India for world tournament in America (New Jersey).
• And BTF students won 7 places (2 first, 2 second, 3 third).
• Also BTF School got” The Best School” appreciation award from grand master kichiro shimabuku.
• 2016 april ayyappan mani & BTF School got WHD Affiliation from pittsburge U.S.A
• 2016 October Ayyappan Mani Got promoted 5th degree Black Belt (GO DAN) By Grand master Kichiro shimabuku @ okinawa japan
• On November 2016, Renshi Ayyappan Mani went to Thailand and completed his 2nd level Muathay training.
• On June 2017, Ayyappan Mani and his team (Anika, Arti, Pravan, Raghul) qualified for international tournament in Maine,USA and  won several trophies.
• On 2019 March He Went again okinawa for 6thdan Training & grading from grand masters kichiro shimabuku (isshinryu) and teshiro Hokama (gojuryu).
• On 2019 July His Students participated in IWKA London BTF is the only Official Team From India most of the participants won the medal (7 gold, 6 silver, 7 bronze)
• On 2019 August He went Ladakh For Taking grading for his ladakh branch studnets with sensei gitanjali in "SECMOL".
• 2021 January Ayyappan Mani Got promoted 6th DAN Black Belt (GO DAN) By Grand master Kichiro shimabuku @ Okinawa japan) – One more stone is crown “The First Indian get 6th Dan directly byGrand master Kichiro shimabuku”
